It’s finally out!
I’ve missed you Sara, happy to see you’re back… Especially when Rashida Jones is the one directing your music videos!
David Bowie - The Next Day
I don’t care about the song. I don’t care about the media exposure the video’s getting. All I can see is Marion
Syron - Here
David Bowie - The Stars (Are Out Tonight)
Directed by Floria Sigismondi and shot by Jeff Cronenweth, the new clip features David Bowie and Tilda Swinton as a typical, middle-aged married couple.
Lianne La Havas - Gone
The second part of the two-part video directed by Colin Solal Cardo (La Blogotheque) is even more beautiful. Truly heart-breaking.
Lianne La Havas - Elusive
The first part of a two-part video directed by Colin Solal Cardo (La Blogotheque) is just stunning. Onto the second one…
Fleur - Turns The Lights On
Record of the Day described her as the next drum n’ bass star and with this song we can see why!
Here’s some more info on her:
Fleur spent 2012 on tour as the lead vocalist for DJ Fresh in a busy year that included collaborations with Drumsound & Bassline Smith, White N3rd, DJ Fresh (Turn It Up), Davinche, Tim Powell and Carl Ryden and ending with a One To Watch feature on Channel 4’s Freshly Squeezed. Produced and co-written by Culture Shock, Turn The Lights On is picking up an incredible amount of specialist radio support from Friction and Phil Taggart & Alice Levine on Radio 1, to Crissy Criss on 1Xtra, Steve Smart and The Wideboys on Kiss FM and Eddy Temple-Morris on Xfm. The video is playlisted on Starz and Kiss TV Breakin Beats as well as gaining spot plays on MTV Dance and Channel AKA. Fleur is currently in the middle of a national club PA tour and is receiving a host of online and press support including UKF, SBTV and RWD.
Laura Mvula - Green Garden
Another beautiful song and music video (directed by Wendy Morgan) by Laura Mvula who is quickly becoming my favourite new artist of 2013.
