On a new post on the Google blog they note how live shows or concert links are now going to be pulled into artist search. A brilliant thing, perhaps the next thing they can do is stop linking to album files and mp3 on upload sites!
“To find upcoming concert tour dates, we aggregate relevant data for events from multiple websites and show it under the band’s official website with links to the event sites where you can find out more about the event or purchase tickets.”
It looks like Google will pull the info directly from band sites and ticketing sites rather than last.fm and / or Songkick that can often be inaccurate.
And just like that Songkick gets in trouble.

To get more customers, you need to market and advertise. But when cash is sparse, it’s tough to allocate dollars toward promotional efforts, especially when there’s no guarantee of a return.

Awesome site for designy temporary tattoos.
I was just thinking about this the other day.
I love tattoos but can’t imagine wanting something inked on my skin for the rest of my life so thought temporary tattoos would be a great alternative and could become essentially an accessory.
I wish these guys the best of luck and will be purchasing some very soon :)

What a brilliant website - I love the name, I love the design, I love the content, the fact that Lauren Conrad is involved… it’s perfect for its target market!
I had actually thought a couple of months ago how it seemed weird that there isn’t a single major beauty blog/website that particularly stood out… If I had the website design and beauty know-how I would have done so myself!
I’m also very interested to see how and if they are going to commercialise this website in particular. They have Lauren Conrad involved which 3 years ago would have given them a huge competitive edge and potential for a wide variety of expansion options but does she still have the appeal nowadays? What do you think?
What websites do you go on when you want some beauty tips?
